***** TBA hikes explained *****

A hike marked TBA in the calendar means that no hike leader has volunteered to lead that day's hike. Very often on the day of a TBA hike, there will be a hike leader who shows up at the parking lot willing to take responsibility for the day's hike.  Should there not be a hike leader, there is nothing to prevent those present from hiking simply as a group of friends without the hike being a club sanctioned event.
