What a perfect day for a hike! Gentle snow, packed down snow machine trail and great company. 12 hikers headed out on an unfamiliar trail. First obstacle was getting across an almost frozen stream with help from Dave. Sorry Jake but we did have a few hills to contend with. Beautiful spot on the lake for lunch and when we finished the hike we had travelled about 7 km. Can't wait to do this hike again in the summer . Thanks all for making my first hike as leader a success.
