Hike today with Jim B to Mink lake. A good group of 10 hikers including a visiting hiker (Brian ) left the Washington snow dump and followed the all nations to the sand pit and then followed a trail into the wilderness, over a beaver pond, over twigs and branches to a neat swampy spot for lunch. See the pics for the fallen trees in the flooded area. The group decided to hike back rather than continuing on to Mink Lake proper but we weren’t far off. A good sunny day and very few bugs.
