Jean Guy led 14 avid hikers from Pipeline road to the shore of Elliot Lake.. pretty little beaches that helped orient ourselves to where we were... back to the road and then in the trail to High Rocks... a little muddy in places but no mishaps... the exclamations of awe and wonder when we popped out of the bush to the viewpoint was very nice to hear... we overlooked the lake and could see most of Quimby as well, the dam and waterfalls are just out of sight around a small point.. we ate our fill of beauty and then returned to the road... hike leaders met at the Westview pavilion and set up leaders till December... anyone not attending but wanting to lead a hike, check with those on the schedule to share the load.
