hike cancelled due to impending rain... I went to rendezvous to let people know but 8 of us, who apparently can't read, met up and refused to accept EC report... so to make a short hike longer, I took the group east of the golf course, around Ryan lake on the VTA and up to Rainbow ridge... the blues of the lakes, greens of the conifers and the red, orange and yellows of the hardwoods lived up to the name... did not rain on us... trail clearers did a great job and we moved a few windblown poles out of the way... lots of up and downs on this trail, almost no flat sections... I set a quick pace as one had an early afternoon appointment and we were back in lots of time... only 4.3 km but a workout none the less... fall T-shirt weather
