Bakers dozen hikers today followed Bill and Bonnie on a road walk on South Bay Road. At the end of the road we ventured into the bush and ended up overlooking a swamp. Then we followed another off shoot to the giant sand pit near Dunlop Shores road. Lunch stop was at the Thompson’s park dock in the sunshine.
Thanks for letting the hike leader “wing” it today when the planned hike was a washout.
