BBBBRRRRRRR!!!!!! Chilly wind at the Scotia Bank parking lot! Thirteen (popular number) of us left the Washington snow dump to the top of the All Nations Rd hill {W of the Slipper Lake boat launch), then north into the bush. We took the old logging rd. north to a new trail up onto the Snakes and Ladders plateau. Then, NW over to the Hector Highway to tie into the Spine Beach ATV/Snowmobile (depending on season) trail. We hiked W, on the Spine trail, about 1 km, past the creek/swamp at the W end of Hector Lake, for our break. Then, we headed back the way we came.
