Today was a nice 6 k hike, cold, sunny and no wind. 12 hikers went up towards the fire tower. The beaver ponds frozen so we skipped rocks on the ice. There was good footing to the hill overlooking Beaver mountain and Elliot lake. There were a few steep sections for a Monday hike but we made it to the top and back to the cars... very pleasant outing...
