Seven hikers headed out to pipeline road and bumped down to the bridge to high rocks trail... a few puddles and broken branches later we came to an outstanding view out over Elliot and Quimby lakes. We started out a little wonkey but got stronger as the hike progressed. It took two hours but had blackberry and raspberry stops along the way... lots of mushrooms fruiting, wild flowers, and maybe a turkey gobble in the distance... high rocks view is spectacular as always
