3 hikers set out from Canmet Snow Dump today with the plan to stay out for a short while due to weather conditions.
We headed to a trail that took us to the shore of Angel Lake . Someone had left a rowboat there. We continued on our way when we saw an adult bear coming in our direction. It looked at us and it quickly turned around and ran the other way. We had a quick glimpse of it. We shouted to make sure it kept going !
We waited a bit and decided to turn around and hike another trail leading the other way. We checked out a beaver dam and another small unnamed lake before returning to our vehicles.
Our whole adventure lasted one hour
