19 followed Jean Guy, on a fine fall day, off of Panelmine Road towards Northspan lake.. as well as lots of hardwood woods and rocky ridges we saw a large well groomed fox.. at a hundred or so yards, she seemed nonplussed at our intrusion and sat and watched us as we stood and watched her.. we climbed to a ridge that overlooked Quirke lake and then we circled Northspan for a rest and snack near the end of Helen's trail.. coming back we took a short cut bush trail with several lengths of wooden, wire wrapped conduits...(about 12 inch diameter) to be seen.. back on the road wefound the end of Phil's, 150 trail and so on to the cars.. 4 for coffee
