Today 17 hikers crunched through the crusty snow-covered Grants
Trail. Most hikers were on snowshoes while several were in winter hikers. The snowshoers
lead the way to break the way for the hikers in hikers. 😊
Earlier in the season someone cut a trail from Grants to Rhy lake, so we took a
little detour to check out the trail. Every where we hiked there were signs of grouse
and rabbit tracks. The temperature in my mind was perfect for snowshoeing with
the sun contributing the odd warming ray. Overall the comments were positive
during and at the end of the hike. Some stated that Grants is the perfect trail
for the first snowshoe of the season.
