7 CDB members and a guest hiker took the bright sunny cold morning head on and hiked a short loop on Helen's Trail. On the return trip we made our way up to the fire pit where we made a little fire and cooked a little food. Fun time was had by all, with this fire being the first ever outdoor open fire cook up for one member. Always awesome to be part of that.
Given the amount of snow that we have had recently, much preparation was involved in making this a great day. Thanks for those who helped. It was really appreciated, not only by myself, but also by those that participated in todays hike.
