Saturday Hike 2022 02 19 Helen's Trail

Saturday's hike will include a fire at Helen's Bench near the end of the hike. Please feel free to bring something to roast over the fire if you so desire, or just chill and enjoy the fire and fellow hikers.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
