Saturday hike was cancelled due to rain and slippery conditions.. so tonight, we went out for a moonlight hike north of town.. a couple of hikers went out to build a fire and camp for a few days and 12 more of us left at dark and hiked in the half km or so in the dark.. Julie brought sparklers to make it festive. Eva had marshmallows, lots of us had camping stories... nice warm starlit night to sit at a fire with good friends.. coming out, at the end of the lake we were stopped by the velvet blackness of the sky and the brilliance of the stars.. Orion boldly marching... wonderful moments.. great company.. thanks to Heber and Brian and Julie for organizing
