PAUL TORRANCE 2022 04 07

The fog, gloomy skies and the rain did not deter five determined hikers from tackling the challenging spring conditions on the Paul Torrance Trail.  The rain yesterday softened the snow, both on the packed trail as well as on the edges of the trial. A slight misstep off of the narrow packed trail could put you knee deep in soft snow, with standing water at the bottom.  Several water features were crossed with only a wet or muddy boot, thanks to quick recovery reactions. Although we did not hike through to the Grant's Trail junction, it was an enjoyable outing despite the less than ideal weather
