Jean-Guy led 9 hikers along the Serpent River. We parked on Riverview rd at the bottom of Hwy 108. From the parking area we did the road walk west to the train bridge trail. At the bridge we stopped to enjoy the views over the rapids and the red roofed cabin set on the other side. Then we returned to the cars but went east for the second half of the trip. Lots of Canada geese were squawking and playful in the river and a few ducks were spotted as well. After some more road walk we stopped for a snack at the upper waterfalls. The spring run off is definitely underway as the falls were roaring. After the lunch break we headed back to the cars. Thanks JG for a great hike.
