Jean Guy led 6 of us out behind the golf course.. (good to see the golfers out again) trying to keep clear to deter black flying things... we were blessed with two pair of cranes... one let us walk by but when we turned they decided we were a threat and started walking ahead and calling to keep our attention. After a few hundred yards they took to the air and flew back to the starting spot.. the other pair we kept out distance.. lots of wildflowers out. tons of strawberry, trefoil, daisy about to burst forth, wild sorrel, apple blossoms, cherry, birds twittering in the foliage but never a flash of feather.. good hiking weather
