Jean Guy led 15 hikers for a road walk on Panel Mine Rd with a short loop toward the river on a new trail. That loop was cut short due to the soggy spots but we continued along the road for a while. Next it was into the bush and a slow climb followed by more climb and then more climb to the last climb to a beautiful rock lookout for snacks. Then it was back down the hill and along the road to the cars. The bugs were out but really not too much of a challenge except for Dave who seemed to be swatting deer flys continually. All in all a fun hike !
