Eight hikers led by the indomitable Chuck hiked up the Dennison Mine Road. Blue skies and lots of sunshine with a nice breeze made for an enjoyable day. As we got started, we came upon a large patch of milkweed - good for the endangered Monarch butterflies. We took a side trip into Williams Lake - lovely, peaceful spot! On the return trip we veered off to check out the falls as some folks hadn’t seen them up close. Lots of lively chatter - no chance of startling any bears - they can hear us coming a mile away! As usual a great hike and thanks to Camilla for being our sweep.
