Ten Tremendous Trekkers started from the Washington Apts visitors' parking area and proceeded to make our tour of the Golden Tamaracks surrounding the marshy areas north and west of the City.
We followed ATV trails and trails through the Bellingham Bush to our lunch spot at the Boat Launch on Slipper Lake.
Fall colours were inspiring. Fallen leaves made for a gorgeous carpet
on the trails and clear views throughout.
Some disappointment at the garbage left by careless coffee drinkers and picnic people. Thanks to Ginette we were able to collect it and take it out of the bush.
A great day for a hike.
