Jean guy led a hike into Northspan lake.. at the corner we headed up the hydro lines to the cliff overlooking Quirke lake.. Stunning views, fall colours, the sparkling waters . Back to the road we continued on to a spot on the shore of Northspan, sun came out, nice breeze, duck startled, rocks skipped... one had been away at a silent retreat... I think her average is back up... coming back we took a bush trail (see leader name)along the lake and soon were back at the cars... busy schedules all round as future hikes, trail clears and social events were hammered out .. cool start but pleasant hiking weather
