Dave led the tba of 10 people to the snowshoe trail north of town.. perfect weather for it... leaves are mostly down so one can see far into the woods.. still dry in the bush.. cranberry pond was half size and we picked berries in the dry ... people back from knee problems, heat of summer and trips to Newfoundland.. in and out in two hours with still time to vote..... tree rubbing serenades while we snacked... 6 or so sitting on a log that started to complain a bit but held up.. heard a pileated call.. a few partridge.. a squirrel and 10 nuts... great day out
