You know when you are invited to an event and you are not sure what to wear? Is it semi-formal, Dress Down Friday or Evening Gown??
Anyway, eight great hikers had that decision to make this am.
To wear snowshoes or not????
Seven of our group opted for snowshoes on our way from Spruce Beach along Emily's Trail . By the time we had enjoyed our lunch along the lake and were on our way back to the parking lot only two of our eight hikers chose to wear their snowshoes.
Dave felt very fashion forward because he was the trend setter without snowshoes.
Not much snow on the trail due to shelter from the recent snow by the hemlocks. The lake was spectacular with ice forming with the backdrop of snowy trees .
A good group for a pre-Christmas jaunt.
