Tom came down with the dreaded Lurgi so David subbed today. Started with 13 hikers up the woodpecker to Esten trail, to the Slipper look out.. then down the hill to Pim's turn, then down to the shore and Pim's camp.. stopping for snack, water, nose blow and CHAT..
Up the steep return trail, over the crest and back down to our in road.. then the turn down the hill to the Slipper trail, down to the shore and back along the east side of slipper to the All Nations road and so back to the cars.. 6 or so inches of snow, frozen puddles, the lake is frozen over. (last Saturday, just a small bay had ice)
Really good hike. 2.5 hours and coffee for 4 after..
