Today's hike was sort of an extension of the trail clearing performed yesterday. Jean-Guy lead us around the old Quirke 1 site, re-travelling the route we took and cleared yesterday. All the x-country skiers were excited to have new for some, old trails for others that have been lost for several years.
Many fresh tracks in the snow appearing to be a couple of wolves having a blast playing in the new snow and in a couple of places, showing off their hunting skills.
The sun was out, the temperature was awesome. Bunch of happy hikers except for the water crossing that required intense concentration.
