Seven hikers ignored the snow that fell overnight and were eager to hit the trails! As no one was scheduled to lead the hike, Renee F. took the lead (because I had the sign up sheets, lol!). It was decided that we would snowshoe the Horne Lake Trail to the lookout, then backtrack and continue on the Blue Trail loop.  Although we needed to break trail most of the way, the snow was not heavy and several took turns taking the lead. The freshly fallen snow made everything look beautiful and we marvelled at the sight - some even sang! All were tired by the time we returned to the cars, but agreed it was a good workout - 6.29 km!
