Led a big hike of 17 down the hwy to Massey and the Chutes park.. still snow on the paths but we edged around it down to the first look out over the falls.. up the stairs and follow up river to the bridge to the island.. we crossed the island and had snack on the east side near the rapids. invigorated, we crossed the second bridge to the mainland and followed down stream to the look out on that side... started to spit rain so we headed back and down the side of the road to get to the cars before the rain hit..
a beautiful part of the world... lots of pictures taken, many happy hikers.. Ruth had a pocket full of goodies to share, Rodd had dried fruit from his own kitchen, smiles and good humour were in abundance. Thanks to Heber and Bill for keeping track of everyone.
