Ten of us hardy hikers all prepared to brave the blackflies made out way around the Sheriff Lake loop. We wanted to go further but second trail to what we used to call the Chimney spot on Sheriff Lake was flooded over extensively so it was a No Go. We had a short snack and time to chat along a stream instead. We all enjoyed the day and it ended up nearly " bug free" with a nice cool breeze.
