Six hikers met for a leisurely hike down the atv trail to Spur Lake. There was a lovely breeze to start off the walk and then the humidity moved in along with a myriad of biting insects. Too numerous to mention by name. It was bearable down by the water and the trip back was a wee bit faster paced. We managed to pick up two garbage bags of litter on the way out, shame on people.
