After 2 days of steady rainfall, seven hikers declared it was finally time to enjoy a sunny day.
We started at the RV park and followed the Hydro line to the Green Bridge on Horne Lake. We carefully followed the Blue Trail to the Yellow Trail. It was a bit slippery after the recent rains.
We followed the Yellow/ Blue Trails to the cliffs over Horne Lake for an early snack while we perched on the windswept rocks!!
We followed the Blue Trail along the edge of Horne Lake back to the Green Bridge and continued onthe Blue Trail back to the cars.
We met 4 other hikers on the trails.
One had a friendly Golden Retriever.
It was good to see the sun again.
