24 hikers walked out to Rye lake where Rodd had a fire going for us to toast dogs, buns, sausages, partridge, rice and fingers..
Crisp morning, no wind, good fire going with plenty of spots for cooking. The odd cookie and sweet treat made the rounds too.
Apres lunch a few of us took a stroll down the shore to the lovely look out point for a view of the frozen lake and Grant's trail in the distance..
