Hike leader training January 20th. We need hike
leaders. Currently we have approximately 8 or 9 leaders that carry the load on
the regular hikes and a few that carry the senior hikes on Thursdays. If you
are sitting on the fence about being a leader we can provide mentorship for a
few hikes. Remember, you do not need to know a bunch of trails. All one needs
is 3 to 4 trails and with that if you lead 1 per month you would have 4 months
of leading under control. Also, most of us have many trails tracked on our
phones that we are happy to share. Give it some thought. For the most part the
difference between leading and hiking is choosing where to go.
