The leader decided that because it might be the first time this year on snow shoes that the nine hikers would not attempt a typical Thursday hike.
Instead we decided we would help the Penokeans by tramping down the red and part of the yellow trails so that they would be able to enjoy theirSaturday morning hikes on a packed trail.
We didn’t take turns breaking trail, we all broke trail, so it is nice and wide and we were all tired and happy that it wasn’t any longer than an hour.
