David led this morning's hike out to Rye Lake. 12 of us walked out the trail to the lake, over small hills, along wet spots and around corners.. pleasant still day and fun chatter. A large crow flew along for a while. Large woodpecker flew by, over a wetland. Grouse walked out onto the trail and waited for us to get close enough to tell it was a hen. lots of rabbit tracks. the odd squirrel..
When we got to the lake, we bushwacked out to the point for a break and chat.
