A VERY BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful Coureurs de Bois volunteers who made the Snowshoe Stroll such a BIG success. The hike leaders and sweeps took 44 people out on a stroll from Spine Beach into the trail leading to the new beach. Some went further than others, and some had the privilege of leading a group of Special Olympics.
Thank you to the City of Elliot Lake for the use of their event trailer to cook and serve hot dogs and hot chocolates, which they provided. They also provided cotton candy and popcorn.
It was certainly a team/joint effort and it was great to see such a good turnout.
