An early spring was in the air as 10 keeners and 1 Reluctant Rapunzel embarked on a hike to our Little Quirk campsite. Cleats were very useful, but the snow on the wild side was much reduced from only a few days ago. One of the snowmobilers built a nice little bridge on the main trail near Duthorne Lake, which was awesome. The fire was quick and easy due to dry wood, but only one roaster participated. Much amusement was gained when we conducted a double crossing of a small creek which may have been at it's peak flood for the spring. Thanks to Keith and Walt for some impromptu trail clearing as well.
