ParticipACTION hike #5 took us to the Denison pine trail and the Serpent River rapids. Five of us trekked along as well as a billion mosquitos for 3.7 kms in 56 mins. Lady slippers are still abundant- as well as lots of new growth on red pine and white pine trees. The skies opened up with sunshine and warmer temperatures- enjoyable day with coffee/ice cream after at McD’s.
