The Coureurs de Bois Outdoor Club has signed up with Participaction to be part of the Most Active Community Challenge. The prize for becoming the most active community is $100,000 to be spent on local parks and trails.
There are several other groups signed up in Elliot Lake and together I believe we have a chance to grab the prize.
What I need for data to submit to Participaction is that someone on every hike to track the hike on either Gaia or some other app that saves the hike in gpx format. Once the hike is completed please submit the track along with the duration and the number of hikers.
This also applies if an individual with or without friends go for a leisurely walk at some point during the day. Track the walk and send me the info.
