A soggy Saturday did not deter three club members from enjoying a brief sojourn in Sheriff Creek Yellow Trail.
We entered from the parking area across from the entrance to Milliken Minesite. The trail led us up a hill to a crossing. One trail would lead to Milliken Rd, one to Fuddle Duddle Hill and the Jackrabbit Trails and the third trail kept us on the Yellow Trail to the Beaver Pond.
Lots of brush has grown around the edge of the pond and the water is low. No freshly nibbled trees by the
"Nickel Rodents" that we could see.
The new benches for low sturdy and are well placed for resting tired hikers along the trails.
Another pleasant day for a Coureurs de bois hike!
