I've been looking at this Thursdays TBA hike for weeks now wondering what we could do, I've finally figured out something that's a bit different but the time frame fits well for a Thurs hike.
This Thurs we will go to Ceolin Falls, otherwise known as Puddingstone Falls. The goals are simple, hike to the upper falls from the lower falls ( supposed to be less than 1km ) then return to the lower falls and relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Bring a snack/water a chair or towel to relax on, dip a toe in the water if your so inclined, Right now the weather is a mix of sun and cloud, mid 70's
We will meet up at the bank for 9am then head north to the Boland rd, turn right on the Boland rd and travel approx 25km to the parking/trailhead. The road is in good condition for a logging rd, no muddy areas, low riding vehicles would not do well but the typical SUV that most drive would be fine, even better if its all wheel or 4W- drive. I have 2 people already and room for 2 more, and Rodd has room for 3, we may not need any other vehicles but if so they should be as described above. We should be back to the bank by approx 330pm.
There is no cell service but I will have my Zoleo satellite communicator for emergency. Keith
