Eleven eager beaver hikers set out to conquer Beaver mountain on a sunny fall Saturday. The climb was still as steep as it ever was only more difficult with all the leaves covering those pesky rocks.
The view just as breathtaking without all the leaves on the trees. Elliot Lake was like a mirror or glass, so spectacularly beautiful. A veritable feast for the eyes. The way down was much better since we did away with the part that had rope keeping hikers from having a really bad day. All and all a wonderful hike. This leader would like to say thanks to Keith’s for his destination idea from his cancelled hike.
