Just wanted to mention to anyone new who may decide to come out and join us for a hike, we are now using snowshoes so you would need to have a pair, if you do not own your own we can arrange to let you try a pair for a few hikes to let you see how you enjoy it. Before that happens though you would need to contact me through this blog email ( elhiking@gmail.com ) and we would take things from there. If you have never snowshoed before it does take a bit more effort (at least a third more) as such you should come out on one of our easier hikes ( Mon 10am or Thurs 1pm ) and try things out first.
