On the Ropes to Cinder Lake
Moderate cold brought 7 hikers out. Several club members had scouted, marked and cleared the trail last week so easy going. Most hikers utilized the ropes to make the short steep hill a little easier. The bum is another way to get down. A nice view of Cinder Lake was the stop at lunch. It was remarked that a summer / fall hike in this area would be a great idea. The rocky hills east of Cinder Lake also looked good for further exploration.
