Dave led the hike for 6 of us out to Banana Lake. parked on Dunlop Shores and then 500 yards to the trail head.
Up the hill, following a large moose,, turned on the atv trail to the entrance to Liz's trail. Follow along, fiord the creek, circumnavigate puddles and on to the bench and lookout.
Nice chat and rest, listened to birds, had a snack and sips.
Retraced our steps, easier as we had removed 5 small deadfalls from the path.
Warm day, down to t-shirt again, spit of rain to cool down the squnterers. Safely back and Eva found the lost tip of my walking stick.. thanks.. led to a long discussion of plumb bobs.
2.25 hours. about 8,000 steps..
lots of moose tracks, birds singing, grouse drumming, water walkers on the ponds. odd patches of snow hanging on, maple and birch leafing out.. spring..
Don took a couple of shots..
