A great way to start off the fall hikes with a jaunt into Sheriff Lake doing the loop counter clockwise. Lots of mushrooms in a variety of shapes and sizes. The flora is still thick and deep green so maybe colour change will be later? Six of us had lots of chatting and reminiscing of our hikes over the years. Then we drove up to the lookout tower as one of our newer hikers hadn’t seen it yet. Then off to Mcds for refreshment and more chats. PHOTOS
