Today's hike was to the Little Quirk Lake campsite and the weather was
nice in a mildly stormy way. Steep and rocky in parts, we had a shortbreak on the north side of Duthorne Lake. When we arrived on site, the
fire was already going thanks to pre-positioned dry wood and our helper.
Various foodstuffs were cooked and roasted cheese was a new one for us.
Returning on the same route was faster due to the elevation change.
Another nice day to begin the winter season.
