Valley of the Cars to Slipper Lake: There was a definite nip in the air when just 2 hikers travelled along a now well worn trail to Slipper Lake. The fire was going quickly due to dry wood and a stiff breeze.
Little sausages were roasted for some nostalgic reasons and marshmallows as well. Afterwards, tie the snowshoes to the packs and up a steep hill, 63m vertical, and then back to the ATV Trail and home. Nice varied terrain so close to home.
