After a slight glitch, Alan's car wouldn't start, the trailer was dragged over to the Snowbirds workshop - temporarily renamed - and construction began. Had to dry it off a bit as the snow managed to get in. Thank goodness it was a day later we got the big dump. The theme of the parade this year is Á Story Book Christmas" and ours is a French Canadian legend, la chasse- gallerie, about 3 Coureurs de Bois who will be flown home in a witches canoe if they promise that they will not curse, drink or carouse on the way. Unfortunately they sell their souls to the devil by breaking their promise when they are unable to resist. One by one they fall by the wayside and the canoe crashes to earth.
