CHRISTMAS PARADE

The annual Elliot Lake Christmas Parade will be held on Friday, 30th. November. We are decorating the float today at 3pm. at the Santa's (Snowbirds) Workshop on Timber Road next to Quest. This is opposite Home Hardware and to the left of Quest around the corner.

The Friday parade forms up behind the Civic Centre and we ask you be there between 6.30 and 7.00pm. The parade actually moves out at 7.00pm. Please wear your hiking type gear, even carrying a backpack will identify us as hikers, and anything Christmassy - a hat, for example. We will be eating...oops, handing out candy enroute. It's a good parade and fun to do. The walk is only from the Civic Centre, over to Ontario St. and then up Hillside North to Collins Hall. Free hotdogs and hot chocolate are served there and the cadet bands usually play also.
Please let anyone know, who isn't on the blog, about the parade details. Thanks.
